Valérie has a wide experience in professional written translation, especially for artistic and literary texts. Past clients include Choreographer Deborah Hay, Actor William Hurt, Opera singer Denyce Graves, Austin Choir Conspirare, Texas Early Music Project, among others. Her work was noted for her sensibility to the text. Valérie has also translated and facilitated conversations between sculptors and clients in exhibition installs and has been an interpreter in business meetings. Valérie has worked as a researcher--coordinator-curator, and trilingual translator/interpreter for several museums of the Smithsonian Institution and the Corcoran Museum, in Washington, DC., and in the Museum of Civilisation in Quebec-City, Canada. The text price is $80 and simultaneous translation is $100/hr
